Insurance – Cost of reconstruction, Law 141
Our role in terms of insurable values is to calculate the cost of rebuilding your property in the event of a disaster. Your file will be handled by an experienced approved assessor.
If you are the administrator or manager of a co-ownership you are required to obtain a complete report every 5 years according to the regulations of law 141. In the case of other properties there are no official regulations. If in doubt, however, it is recommended to validate your reconstruction cost in the event of a disaster to ensure that your coverage is sufficient and adequate.
This amount must be sufficient to cover the construction cost, but also the costs related to a disaster such as demolition and post-disaster cleanup. However, the amount of your coverage must not exceed the actual amount in order to allow you to benefit from a fair and equitable insurance premium.
Our extensive experience in this field allows us to offer the best value for money on the market.
